A blue building entrance
Renovation of the entrance hall of a tenant office building in front of Geneva Station.
The shared entrance of this multi-tenant building sees a constant flow of diverse visitors each day. Yet this pre-existing polygonal space—formed as a residual of overlapping rectangular tenant spaces—was marked by a convergence of multiple directions, making orientation difficult.
The intervention in this renovation was limited to a single operation: replacing the convex and concave corners created by the folding walls with gentle curves.
This modest gesture introduces continuity to the space, recomposing this blue entrance hall as a place that naturally guides visitors deeper into the building.
