What a family adventure, and what a stimulating project for us architects! For this haven nestled in the heart of Geneva, in a building with the understated charm of the 1950s, we shared an audacious ambition with our clients: to bring five people together under one roof, without ever sacrificing the precious sanctuary of privacy.
Our trick? A central kitchen box, the true beating heart of the space. Around it, the apartment unfolds into a mosaic of spatial sequences, each adaptable to modulate openness and privacy according to needs. A subtle interplay of sliding doors and perspectives, to harmoniously orchestrate life and home.
